Not so little anymore

I just realized that my baby will soon not be a baby anymore. Garrett is only 2 and a half weeks away from being 1yr old. He is already bigger then most kids his age and has been wearing 12 month old clothes for the past two months now! He barely even fits in his car seat! I think its time for an upgrade.

Dear Fellow 91 Hwy Drivers

I just want you all to know that not only do you piss me off but you scare me to death! I'm not sure if you haven't noticed but the 91 fwy is jam packed with traffic 24/7, and there are hundreds of people trying to reach their destinations just like You!

Can you please explain to me why you proceed to tailgate me in bumper to bumper traffic while were driving in the SLOW LANE?! Is it really necessary? I don't think so! Just because you continue to ride my butt doesn't mean that the car in front of me will magically vanish into thin air because you need me to drive faster.

And to just let you know that the little sticker on my car, you know the one that says "Baby On Board" is there as a WARNING to you that I will drive slow and keep that gap of 3 cars in front of me because I have precious cargo in the car... My child!!!! I'm sure you are aware that one minute you can be driving 60 mph and then have to come to a complete stop! If I'm giving the car in front of me enough space so he/she doesn't freak out that when I slam on my breaks I won't hit their car, can you please do the same for me? You are going to give me a heart attack one day if you continue to just barely stop in time.

So can you please just suck it up like the rest of us and just be courteous and patient? After all it is your fault for for deciding to live in the valley and working in Orange County. You Knew What You Were Getting Into, Right?

Two Days Left

Just two days left until we are officially moved out of our tiny little one bedroom loft apartment. I'm counting every hour, minute and second because I can't wait to be out of there. It was starting to get very crammed in there! Two boys, Two bratty cats, a snake and little ole me will soon be in our beautiful 3 bedroom home. Ahhh!!!! I've never been so thrilled to be moving :)

Bone-Head Move

So today Mike and I took Garrett to the Aquarium of the Pacific. We have been planning this for a week now and were excited about going. We wanted to get lots of great pictures and video clips of Garrett so I packed the camera and video recorder first thing this morning. So we get there, get our tickets and head inside. Five minutes in and Mike asks me for the video recorder and of course ding dong me left the freaking camera AND video recorder in the car. :( Ugh!!! Very much a bone-head move. I'm so sad because Garrett absoultely loved it. He was so excited and having such a blast looking at the different fish that he was drooling and talking very loud! It was the cutest thing ever. He was so happy and sadly we have nothing to show for it.... And now that I'm thinking of it....... DUH!!! We both had our cell phones and could have taken pictures that way. haha Guess that makes two bone heads!! Oh well that just means we will have to go back someday soon. :)

The things people say!

I work for a staffing agency as a recruiter and I hear allot of random, funny, and weird stories from our contractors.. Well today one of our female contractors got laid off. I know sucks, It makes me sad to hear people getting laid off. So we called her to get her side of the story as to why she was laid off. Thinking she would say something like "I finished my project" or "It was really slow" well she said.... "My manager laid me off because I'm better looking then her and she was jealous of me" hahaha I didn't even know how to respond. I was in shock that she actually said that, that I said "I'm sorry what was the reason? and with no hesitation she told me again.... So I just said I was sorry and that we would try to find her a new assignment asap. I can't believe the things people say sometimes. She has absoultely NO Shame! And yes I have met this lady before and Yes she is pretty, but she's no Megan Fox!!! hahaha I guess some people don't understand that certain things are better left unsaid.
