Warning If you have a sensitive tummy and get grossed out quickly you may not want to read this.
A little update... We bought Garrett a training toilet a couple months back because he had started going potty on the toilet at daycare and we wanted to encourage him to keep doing it. Well since the move I have been a little lazy and haven't really been putting him on it. I know bad mommy. Well last night during our getting ready for bed routine.. while Garrett was in the tub I saw him pushing really hard.. Oh No!!! So I yell at Mike and ask him to bring his toliet into his bathroom.. Thankfully he was in the office, which is right by his bathroom. So he brings the potty and as I pick Garrett out of tub a huge piece of poop flys into his toilet... Thank Goodness!!!! So Garrett did his business, I wipe him clean and put him back into the tub filled with water. 2 minutes later I noticed he was starting to push again.... But this time it was too late. He had already pooped in the tub and No Mike insight. It wasn't really fun trying to clean that mess up with garrett standing in the tub crying as I try to rinse him off. Yikes! Next time I'm making sure to let him sit on the potty a little longer.
Have I mentioned how Garrett somehow never seems to vomit, spit up, or poop on Daddy but somehow ALWAYS gets me?! haha Oh well maybe he just knows I don't really mind because Spit Happens! Oh the joys of parenting. To be honest the whole poop and vomit thing used to make me want to vomit. I worked at a daycare center for 4 years and could never handle the stuff, but now it doesn't even phase me. Strange how that happens..
